Screamify has ordered a second season of The Horrored Girls, the video podcast hosted by Geri Courtney-Austein and Harley Bronwyn. Eleven new episodes premiere October 7, 2026, and release weekly, exclusively on the platform.

Both hosts are credited as producers. The format carries over from the first season: one horror guest per week, drawn from filmmakers, actors, SFX artists, final girls and genre veterans, brought into what the show calls the hosts' lair.

Every episode runs the same three-part structure. The guest tells a “Horrorigin” story, rates a favorite horror film on the show's three signature meters, then plays the hosts' games. Those range from rapid-fire challenges and horror trivia to monster makeup competitions and guessing rounds.

The Meters

The rating system is the show's calling card. The Prairie Dog Meter measures jump scares, the kind that put you straight up out of the couch. The Martini Meter asks how many drinks it would take before the villain starts looking good. The Nightlight Meter tracks whether a film follows you to bed.

Courtney-Austein and Bronwyn are both working actors outside the show. Courtney-Austein has appeared in Better Call Saul, Scream Queens, Atypical and NCIS. Bronwyn leads the horror comedy Scream Therapy and appears in Bring Him To Me opposite Barry Pepper and Sam Neill.
